Getting Ready for ScrapFest!

Are you going to ScrapFest?

We can't wait to be there!
Jessica and I have been super busy getting all the class kits together. Class Kits? Yes, CLASS kits ...and you didn't think I was teaching at ScrapFest! *wink*

I beta tested an idea in Oshawa last fall ... having a classroom in my booth. Well, I had so much fun with it and people seemed to like it sooooooo... I'm bringing it to Kitchener!

Here's how it works:
Come by the Art House Studio booth (#500) to get a class ticket. Tickets are FREE but there will only be one ticket given to each person. Although I will be running classes all weekend, I am limited to 12 people / class and there are 12 classes total. (144 people). As I need to make as many seats available for ticket holders and these classes are not set up as a traditional make n takes, tickets are for people 11 years and older. I don't have the appropriate time to dedicate to small children in a classroom set up and need to keep seats available to ScrapFest ticket holders (thank you for your understanding about this).

Get your tickets early! They will go fast
  • Friday tickets will be given out when the show opens at 4pm - Classes start at 4:30
  • Saturday tickets - at least 10 tickets for each class will be reserved for Saturday distribution so that there will be lots of tickets available for Saturday only marketplace guests - Classes start at 9:30
All tickets are on a first come, first served basis.
Ticket holders are requested to be in the booth 10 mins before the start of their class to avoid losing their space to someone waiting. All seats will be filled at the start of the class. It is your responsibility to be on time.

Didn't get a ticket? You can still join us ... there will be lots of space around the classroom for you to watch and even ask questions if you like. No secrets here!! Love to have you join us... even if your just looking for a little shopping break *wink*

There are 4 different classes being offered in Kitchener... Here's one:
Kanzashi Flowers
Learn how to create some amazing fabric flowers using the Clover tools that will literally have you "stitching by numbers". My article in the current issue of the Canadian Scrapbooker shows you some of the ways you can use these little babies.. as hair clips, in home decor, as jewelry and embellishments. Come see just how easy it is! The class includes all supplies including a duel clip that will allow you to wear the flower in your hair or on your jacket! So fun!! There are two classes only -- one for the Blue Flower, one for the Pink.....

another class posted tomorrow!! *wink*
