Opening Doors Canvas - in support of the Cambridge Food Bank

Hello everyone.   Thank you to those who watched me put the finishing touches on my "Opening Doors" Canvas created in support of our local Food Bank on USTREAM last night.   It was a fabulous evening painting and I'm so glad those of you who were able to join me live could be a part of it.

The Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank has been giving a helping hand to people in our area for 30 years.   In the 30 year spirit, this year's fundraising goal is to raise $30,000  to continue supporting the people who use their service.  One of their fundraising initiatives is to host an Art Show and Auction.   This is to be held on April 17 and the theme of the event is "the Door"....  hence the door theme of my painting.

The message on my angel reads:   Don't Stress about the Closed Doors behind you.  New Doors are opening if you keep moving forward.    Love this statement -so true!!!
