Well, I've been busy

Yikes, I can't believe I haven't posted on the blog in so long.  My apologies.   I'll get back on that - I promise!!!

This is show season.   We were at ScrapFest earlier this month and tonight I am off to the CreativFestival in Toronto for that weekend show.   Since I would be able to broadcast on my normal Thursday night yet again this week...  I took to the airways yesterday afternoon for an impromptu broadcast where I created a fun quilted necklace to wear at this weekend's show.

This necklace was inspired by a project in Mark Montano's Big-Ass Book of Crafts 2 .  Loved it (you'll see his project in the video recording below) and thought how wonderful -- and I could use some previously quilted "practice sandwiches" that I had in my stash.   Recognize the fabric?

They are the practice swatches from the broadcast entitled Free-Motion Quilting ....and Painting I did last month.  *BIG SMILES*   Told you I'd use the practice fabric!!   Love how this turned out.

Here is the recording of the broadcast where I explain the inspiration and the process.  ENJOY! See you all soon!
