Decorating a Paper Mache Bowl with Gelli Prints and DecoArt - USTREAM

Okay, here's my bowl!
The Gelli Arts Blog posted a fun suggestion about using your gelli print stash to decorate paper mache bowl -- I thought I'd take them up on it and decorate one with you during my ustream broadcast.

My first bowl, totally me with my go-to flowers and backgrounds.  What was new for me?  Using the new DecoArt Multi Surface Paints, MEDIA Shimmer Misters and Varnish.  Love...  YES!  There are sprays that are non reactive now!   Fabulous.  I'll be spaying more once again!   (DecoArt in the Store)

During the ustream video (below), I adhered the gelli prints to the bowl with gel medium and decorated them with white fluid acrylic paint in a fineline pen.  After it dried, a satin varnish from the DecoArt Media line was put on it to give it a semi glossy, protected look.  Love.

Thanks for the inspiration, Gelli Arts.
