....with my dear friend Katharina Doyle, co-founder of the Canadian Scrapbooker.
Love this lady and the team at the Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. They sure make life fun and paper crafting INSPIRING!!! <3 all.="" p="" them="">
Katharina and I had a great time at the CreativFestival in Toronto this weekend sharing our love of the magazine with you. THANK YOU to everyone who took some silly selfies with us (complete with my now trademarked photobomb style - giggles). I hope you post and tag them so we can continue to share the silliness!
They were having fun outside our booth too... The Crochet Crowd had a display of 350 crocheted hats inspired by Alice in Wonderland for sale at the show. These hats were true pieces of art and I am thrilled to have purchased one in support of their scholarship fund. Yes, I'm a little tea pot... and Kat got her Cat hat too. Words do not describe the amount of fun we had taking pics of us in our hats. Hummm wonder when we can wear these again? LOL... Yes, Alice, Paint the Grand?? or the fall ScrapFest in Richmond Hill!!!! I'm on it *wink*
Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!! Looking forward to getting back in the studio tomorrow for some play time and classes too... Have a create day!!

More than a little tardy... but for great reason
I have been a horrible blogger lately... so sorry about that everyone. Those of you who have "liked" us on Facebook have been keeping more up to date with all the goings on here at the studio -- I'll make a BIG effort to post it here too!
We have been BUSY BUSY with ScrapFest prep, show and bring back to do too much on the easel but I do have some things I can't wait to share with you. First... I'd like to officially post my thank you to ScrapFest for a fantastic event. Here's a re-cap:
We were thrilled to be at ScrapFest in Kitchener April 11&12 offering our mixed media products and showcasing the Brother ScanNCut. It was a pleasure to put faces to names of people who I have "met" online and so wonderful to see so many of our friends and fellow creative peeps there.
Many of you got a chance to meet Erin Bassett. Erin was in our booth
representing Brother Canada and offering make n takes with the ScanNCut machine.
So much fun! ScrapFesters got a chance to make their own stencils, die cuts
and even shrink plastic charms! Thanks Erin! That are of the booth was hopping and people were really excited to learn more about that fabulous machine!
For me, in addition to chatting with people in my booth, I had the opportunity to
host 6 mini classes in the Canadian Scrapbooker "Technique Taster" area. I
always LOVE sharing new techniques at the show. Canadian Scrapbooker ROCKS
:) This year I did a stamp technique with Dylusions Spray Inks (watch for a demo video coming soon) and we assembled a quilt pattern with paper that was cut with the ScanNCut. Too fun. Thanks to everyone who participated in the classes (even those who heckled and watched - giggles)
For those of you who were lucky enough to purchase a ScanNCut from me at
the show and in the studio -- stay tuned for a workshop day in my studio soon so
that we can all discover and play with our machines together!! Email me to
add yourself to a mailing list for those dates. *smile*
Anywhooooo... back to the bloggersphere I get!!
Tomorrow I am teaching a "Release" painting class in the studio and then heading to the CreativFestival in Toronto for the weekend with Canadian Scrapbooker's Katherina Doyle. Can't wait. Look for some selfie posts -- we can be a little crazy that way *wink*
The studio in Cambridge will be OPEN while I am there.... Have a creative day!
