Large Mongo Canvas - USTREAM
Even USTREAM had enough... LOL It was a long canvas painting broadcast last night while but so worth it :) I created this 3'x4' canvas (yes, that is feet - not inches) while online last night. The record cut off after the max time limit was hit (LOL) but I kept going. THANK YOU to all those who stuck it out through the long ugly stage! *smile*
I am happy how it turned out :) ...but reserve the right to add something tomorrow ! LOL
Hope you're having a creative day.... I am open tomorrow (Sat) but Closed after that until Jan 2 for New Years. I will be in and out of the studio all weekend so feel free to call if you have any questions or are looking for something in particular. You know I'm happy to help!

Souls Take Flight - USTREAM Broadcast
Thank you for watching me create this canvas last night. As always, I loved creating with you!
For those of you who didn't get the opportunity to watch live, this canvas (named by Ms Kelly Panacchi - who did watch last night) was inspired by the events of the day. A tribute (of sorts) to the 26 souls who died in CT yesterday.
As requested by the viewers last night, I will be creating some note cards of this canvas and will offer them for sale so that the proceeds can be sent to the families of the victims. I will also offer up the original canvas for "silent auction" with the proceeds going to the families as well. So, please watch for more information about this when the cards are created and an established fund is in place for the families.
Thank you again for joining me last night! Art is therapy!
Have a creative day!

I spy with my little eye...
that someone else created a tree canvas too!
I am so happy to share this... Wendy sent this to me a little while ago. It's a pic of her tree inspired by my USTREAM Broadcast (here's it's youTube link) . LOVE it... and the cute crow and bauble she added for a personal touch. Thanks for sharing, Wendy
I also got in some Christmas Cards with My Tree Canvas printed on it. I'm selling them in the studio $3 ea or 5 for $12. How fun is that.?
ARE YOU ON FACEBOOK?
I am running a little give a way on our Facebook Page today.
Share a link to your Christmas Cards in the Card Post and I will send a pack of 5 of my cards to one person who posted. (Randomly selected around 10 EST - open to all) I hope you share your card creations! Love to see what people create!
Less than two weeks until Christmas.... Are you getting in the spirit?
Hope you're having a creative day

Just a little photo shoot....
On Friday I had a GREAT time with my photographer Holly (Photos by Holly) at a photo shoot for some new head shots, photos for my new website (coming soon - I hope) and for some online projects soon to be announced. Whoo Hoo! BUT, oh good golly.... I think I should not have had that "hit" of cold meds (can you tell I was sick for a couple of weeks?) - or is that really me? LOL What's life without a few smiles, eh???
Thanks Holly!!
Love the pics!!
If you live in the Waterloo Region you should really consider trusting Holly with your photographs - Family AND Business! She's awesome - can you tell I highly recommend her? We've used her services for all our family photos for a few years now. Treasure them all!
Have a creative day everyone!

One Starry Canvas
Thanks to those who were able to log onto USTREAM to watch me create this fun Starry Canvas. I had oodles of fun making it - as always! Painting makes me smile!
The only thing I added after the record of last night's broadcast was some metallic paint applied with some bubble wrap.
Here's the recorded stream for you to enjoy.
But be sure to come on by the studio to see for yourself. It's hanging proudly on the wall right now and will be in the window in January.
If you do come by the studio Saturday (Dec 8) -- remember to bring gifts to wrap! The Sea Cadets are holding a fundraiser in the studio - They will wrap your gifts for you while you enjoy a nice cup of hot cider for a donation to their corp program. Hope to see you there!
