Test Your Blades - ScanNCut Video
Okay everyone -- I am happy to post this, the first in a series of Brother ScanNCut edited how-to videos that will assist with any questions you may have about the ScanNCut and to inspire you to do more with yours.
In this video I start with a basic -- How to test your blades. I tell everyone this when they purchase a ScanNCut machine from me here at the shop. Very useful and good to remember!! Hope this serves as a reminder to test your blades before you cut!

Stacking Birds and a Buddha?
I had a fabulous day (with 5 glorious ladies) creating Gelli Print images and collaging them behind the Stacked Birds mat cut with the Brother ScanNCut machine. They all turned out fabulously! Love the Buddha too... D asked me earlier in the week if we could mat something other than the birds and we found a fabulous Buddha image online that we used to create a mat just for her. Love that we can make personalized things with internet images with the ScanNCut!! It opens up a whole new world!
Want to create some Gelli Plate mono-print collages with me here in the studio? -contact the studio for more information and to set up a class time.
class duration- 3 hours
class fees (please add $5 to use our paints) - $35 without frame, $45 with frame (Ikea 11x14 RIBBA frame)
Have a creative day!!

Back to Broadcasting and thrilled to get creative again!
Three Abstract "Peeps"- by Karen Ellis (thearthousestudio.ca) |
The above images are the result of my ustream broadcast last night inspired by Theresa Plas' article in the current Cloth Paper Scissors Magazine. I needed a little magazine inspiration last night to focus my creative energy. There are quite literally a million ideas running through my head and I needed to calm the mind and just play and this project let me do just that. Love the result.
